10/24 meal plan


Saturday

DATE NIGHT!!! 

Sunday
Favorites 
Smoking a pork butt and freezing leftovers
  • Phil is excited to try another pork butt in his smoker and I am loving having leftovers to throw in different recipes
  • We will also put some chopped potatoes topped with bacon bits and cheese in the smoker for a bit making dishes minimal
  • serve with the rest of a bag of coleslaw in the fridge

Monday
Pasta/seafood night

Salmon, brussel sprouts roasted and tossed in balsamic glaze, quinoa from a box
  • a friend recommended this salmon recipe and I'm excited to use a cedar plank we have laying around
  • roasted brussel sprouts at 400 for about 20 mins or until crispy and then toss in a balsamic glaze from ALDI (similiar to the TJ ones)
Tuesday
Taco Tuesday

*Dance Class* *Basketball meeting*
Pulling some chili from the freezer and heating in a small crockpot while we go to dance class
  • we froze this last week and used some leftover pulled pork in it instead of ground beef and it turned out amazing

Wednesday
Instant Pot/Casserole/Grill
*Coach/Officials meeting on zoom*
Butter chicken over rice
  • I seriously love the ease and simplicity of this recipe but it turns out delicious EVERY time

Thursday
Asian or Mexican
Serving a selection of eggrolls and fried rice I found at ALDI-  I'm thinking the chicken avocado ones this week

Friday-
Pizza or freezer
 Pizza night!
