3/13 meal plan

  Saturday

Grill or favorites

Phil is at the state tournament, asian for us

Sunday
#smokersunday

BBQ sandwiches, coleslaw and fries
  • Using some left over smoked pork butt from the freezer, heat in the crockpot and then mix with our favorite salt lick BBQ sauce
  • serve on brioche buns from ALDI that were lurking in the freezer
  • Coleslaw bag mix with some premade coleslaw dressing
  • Waffle fries in the air fryer

Monday
Pasta/seafood night
Fish tacos and black beans
  • use some blackening seasoning or something like this to pan fry the fish
  • top with the rest of the bag of coleslaw mix made into cilantro lime slaw
  • black beans simmered with red onion and cilantro

Tuesday
Taco Tuesday/Soup and sandwiches
*Dance class*
  • Leftover chili from freezer
  • Snack box for Paige
Wednesday
Instant Pot/Casserole/Grill
*St. Particks day**
Corned beef, roasted cabbage and red potatoes
  • using the corned beef I scored from ALDI and my beloved instant that hasn't seen enough use this week to make this recipe.  We made this for St. Patrick's day last year and it was a huge hit.
  • Also making this cabbage recipe.  We double the sauce for it, and it is SO good.  
  • Roasted red potatoes with butter and parsley 

Thursday
Asian or Mexican
Chicken taco salads
  • Grilled chicken marinated with. lawrys 20 minute marinate
  • Fill tostado shells with refried beans, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and HEB cilantro lime dressing 

Friday-
Pizza or freezer
Pizza night
