3/20 meal plan

  Saturday

Grill or favorites

Reuben sandwiches

  • Using left over corned beef from St. Patricks day meal
  • Using our rosemary sourdough bakery break, thousand island dressing, swiss cheese and sauerkraut
  • Serving with leftover potatoes and carrots 


Sunday

Grilled shrimp, risotto, cucumber/tomato salad
  • Grilled shrimp with this marinate- its such a nice mix of spice and sweet
  • Package of mushroom risotto from ALDI
  • Cucumber tomato salad similar to this- but I use random amounts of olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, salt and fresh basil 

Monday
Pasta/seafood night
Spaghetti with meat sauce
  • making homemade spaghetti sauce with ground beef, diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, garlic and onion
  • Serve with chopped cesar salad

Tuesday
Taco Tuesday/Soup and sandwiches
*Dance class*
  • Leftover soup from freezer
  • Snack box for Paige
Wednesday
Instant Pot/Casserole/Grill
Grilled sausages, tots and fruit
  • Found some ale sausages at ALDI and will top with leftover sauerkraut, mustard and grilled onions
  • side of jalapeno and regular tots
  • Fruit or veggies and ranch

Thursday
Asian or Mexican
Orange chicken and fried rice
  • Using a frozen orange chicken skillet meal
  • Making homemade fried rice with this recipe

Friday-
Pizza or freezer
Korean BBQ tacos
  • Trying a new recipe since we have no more kits to use
  • top with pickled red onion, cucumber slices, shredded carrots and sriracha mayo 
  • side of refried beans
